Budgets & Saving Tips with Finance Expert Candace Latham

Joining us to talk about this topic is Candice Latham. She was born and raised in inner city Boston. She used her skills from her nine-to-five ad agency job to start her own design business. Through hard work and smart moves, she paid off $47,000 in debt and started investing, going from a negative net worth to a positive one. Candice's money history is not unlike that of many restaurant workers, who may have student loans to pay off or are working with less income right now -- we hope her story inspires and educates you on how to turn your money woes into a thing of the past.

Break with RWCF: Mocktail Class with Karen Fu

We've covered a lot of ground these past few weeks. We hope digging in on pivoting careers and updating your resume has been inspiring and informative for you!

We've Talked, we've Skillshared, and now it's time to TAKE. A. BREAK.

""Take a Break"" will be the third 'session' of each of our monthly series that keeps it light and give us all a breather.

For our first break sesh, we're bringing in the big guns - but keepin' it zero-proof. Karen Fu, a RWCF volunteer, will host a mocktail demo - just cause we worked hard doesn't mean we have to play THAT hard, and sometimes we just want a delicious cocktail that we won't regret tomorrow.

Karen is one of our esteemed volunteers, sits as Vice Chair of RWCF’s Grantmaking Committee, and is an all around bad ass - having bartended, managed, and directed programs at an impressive list of spots like PDT, NoMad Bar, Donna, and Mayahuel. Needless to say, she's going to bring us one hell of a mocktail recipe, and we hope you tune in and follow along to make and enjoy a guilt-free nip!

Follow us at instagram.com/rwcfusa for the ingredient list to shop for before you tune in.
